Fauna Flora series are all 16" x 12" watercolor and gouache on heavyweight handmade paper. Inspired by the history of botanical illustration that combines scientific discovery and details with visual aesthetics, these work reflect my interest in how plant biology is being changed by the introduction of animal genes.
